Product Overview

Built around the proven YXQM platform, this laboratory planetary ball mill is configured for laboratories that mainly run mixing and material-processing jobs at the 2 L jar scale. It combines a compact tabletop layout with four-jar parallel operation, so routine tasks such as blending powders, homogenizing suspensions and grinding small batches can be finished quickly without occupying excessive bench space.

The machine accepts dry and wet working modes and can be fitted with vacuum jars when materials must be isolated from air. With a minimum achievable particle size of 0.1 micron, it comfortably covers the gap between analytical sample preparation and small production-scale trials.

Working Principle

The four jars are fixed on a rotating turntable and at the same time rotate around their own axes. This combined planetary movement creates strong centrifugal fields inside each jar, forcing the grinding balls to impact, crush and shear the charge with far greater force than gravity-driven tumbling mills can produce. Operators can run two or four jars simultaneously according to the workload, and the whole process is monitored through the variable-frequency control panel.

Working Principle
