Product Overview

The XFGCⅡ hanging tank flotation machine is a versatile laboratory unit for batch flotation and stirring tests on small mineral samples. The tank assembly hangs on the machine frame and can be exchanged quickly, which makes the machine convenient when a laboratory works with many different ores in one day.

The machine is suitable for mining, metallurgy, building materials, chemical industry and other mineral processing laboratories. It is used for mixing, scrubbing, separating and selecting small amounts of mineral samples, and its impeller speed is adjustable from 0 to 2600 r/min through a digital display control, giving the operator full control of the agitation intensity during each test.

Main Uses and Characteristics
Two Test Ranges: the XFGCⅡ 5-35 model handles sample weights of 5, 15, 25 and 35 g, while the XFGCⅡ 50-100 model handles 50 and 100 g charges, covering both tracer tests and standard batch flotation.
Wide Speed Range: impeller speed from 0 to 2600 r/min allows gentle conditioning as well as high-intensity flotation agitation.
Interchangeable Impellers: impeller diameters from Φ18 mm to Φ48 mm match the cell volume in use.
Digital Display: the control panel shows the speed digitally, improving setting accuracy and test repeatability.
Fast Flotation Speed: the compact tank and impeller geometry give quick bubble generation and short test cycles.
Compact Frame: overall dimensions of 230×360×625 mm or 300×390×710 mm, with machine weights of 25 kg and 30 kg respectively.
Structure and Operation

The machine consists of a base frame, an adjustable speed drive, a hanging tank holder, the exchangeable flotation tank, impeller and scraper. In operation the ore sample is pulped in the tank, reagents are added, and the impeller both agitates the pulp and draws in air. The froth layer is scraped into the product pan until the desired concentrate is collected, after which the tailings are filtered and weighed to complete the mass balance.
