The XFGⅡ hanging tank flotation machine is a laboratory flotation unit covering a wider sample range than ordinary single-cell machines. With flotation cell capacities from 5 g up to 1000 g, the same machine body supports both small scouting tests and larger confirmatory flotation experiments, which makes it a frequent choice for chemical laboratories and mineral processing research groups that handle varied sample sizes.

It is suitable for mixing, scrubbing, separating and selecting small amounts of mineral samples in mineral processing research, and for flotation teaching and flowsheet development in geology and metallurgy laboratories. Working Characteristics

The hanging tank design keeps the cell exchange simple: the operator releases the tank holder, fits the tank size required for the sample weight, and selects the matching impeller. The machine then conditions the pulp with reagents and floats the valuable minerals into the froth launder. Because the speed control is electronic, conditioning and flotation speeds can be changed during a single test, which is useful when studying the effect of agitation on recovery.
