Product Description
XMLQ Series Laboratory Grid Ball Mill for Mineral Ore Grinding and Processing Tests
Product Overview

XMLQ Series Grid Ball Mill is a specialized laboratory grinding equipment designed for mineral processing experiments, ore grindability tests and mineral sample preparation.

The equipment is mainly used in mining laboratories, research institutions, universities and mineral processing test centers to study ore grinding characteristics, determine grinding fineness and provide reliable experimental data for industrial beneficiation processes.

With a grid-type discharge structure, the ball mill uses the impact and grinding force generated by the rotation of the cylinder and grinding media to achieve effective mineral liberation.

The equipment consists mainly of a grinding cylinder, spiral feeder, transmission system and supporting frame. It can be used for continuous or intermittent grinding operations and is suitable for laboratory research and small-scale mineral processing tests.

XMLQ Series Grid Ball Mill features a compact structure, stable operation, easy operation and convenient maintenance, making it an ideal laboratory grinding solution for mineral processing research.

XMLQ Series Laboratory Grid Ball Mill overview

Main Features
  • Designed for Laboratory Mineral Testing: Specially developed for ore grinding experiments, mineral processing research and sample preparation, helping optimize beneficiation processes.
  • Grid-Type Discharge Design: The grid discharge structure improves discharge efficiency, reduces over-grinding and helps obtain stable grinding products.
  • Efficient Grinding Performance: During operation, grinding media and ore particles are lifted and dropped inside the cylinder, producing impact and friction forces for effective crushing and grinding.
  • Wide Application Range: Suitable for laboratory tests of various metal ores and non-metallic minerals.
  • Compact Structure and Easy Operation: Small footprint, simple operation and convenient maintenance make it suitable for laboratory environments.

Working Principle

XMLQ Series Grid Ball Mill works through the rotation of the grinding cylinder. After ore samples and grinding media (steel balls) are loaded into the cylinder, the motor drives the cylinder to rotate at a certain speed.

During rotation, the steel balls are lifted to a certain height and then fall down, creating impact forces that crush the ore. At the same time, continuous friction between the grinding media and ore particles further reduces particle size.

After reaching the required fineness, the ground material is discharged through the grid plate, completing the grinding test process.
