Laboratory Leaching Agitator XJT-II for Ore Slurry Mixing

The XJT-II laboratory leaching agitator is a dependable tool for ore slurry mixing work in mineral processing and hydrometallurgy laboratories. It keeps solid particles uniformly suspended in the liquid phase so that leaching reagents can act on the ore surface efficiently, which is the basis of repeatable bottle-roll style and agitated leaching experiments.

Impeller speed is adjustable over a wide range and the machine accepts 1.5 L, 3 L and 5 L tanks, giving the laboratory freedom to match the agitator to the sample size of each test program.

The main assembly consists of a base frame, agitating motor, impeller, mixing tank, shaft, shaft sleeve and bearing housing. Supporting systems include the control panel, external aeration system and optional temperature control system with heater.

Ore slurry prepared at the required pulp density is poured into the mixing tank. The motor turns the impeller, keeping the solid and liquid phases well mixed. During the run the impeller speed is adjusted through the variable-frequency control system, and air can be supplied through the external aeration system for aerated leaching. When temperature-controlled testing is required, the heater warms the slurry while the temperature control system monitors it.

By adjusting agitation speed, aeration, temperature and other testing conditions, researchers can evaluate different laboratory leaching conditions and optimize process parameters before scale-up.
