Laboratory Leaching Mixer XJT-II for Mineral Processing

Hydrometallurgical and mineral processing laboratories use the XJT-II leaching mixer to run small-scale leach tests that mirror plant conditions. The machine agitates ore pulp in exchangeable tanks while allowing the operator to control agitation intensity, introduce air through an external aeration system and, with the optional heater, raise the pulp temperature.

This combination makes the XJT-II suitable for cyanidation studies, acid or alkaline leaching research and reagent evaluation work where consistent mixing is the key to credible data.

The mixer comprises a base frame, agitating motor, impeller, mixing tank, shaft, shaft sleeve and bearing housing, together with the control panel, external aeration system and optional temperature control system with heater.

The prepared ore slurry is placed in the laboratory mixing tank, and the motor rotates the impeller to mix the solid and liquid phases thoroughly. Impeller speed is adjustable through the variable-frequency control system, air can be fed in through the external aeration system when aerated leaching is studied, and the optional heater raises the slurry temperature under the supervision of the temperature control system.

By adjusting agitation speed, aeration, temperature and testing conditions, researchers can evaluate different laboratory leaching conditions and optimize process parameters for the ore type under investigation.
