Product Description
XQM Planetary Ball Mill Four Jars 0.1 Micron Fine Grinding Lab Sample Preparation Machine
Product Overview

Sample preparation throughput is the deciding factor in many analytical laboratories, and the XQM four-jar planetary ball mill is designed exactly for that pressure point. It processes four samples in parallel and reduces material down to 0.1 micron, which makes it a practical workhorse for geology, mining and materials laboratories preparing powders for XRF, XRD, spectroscopy and other instrumental analysis.

Beyond routine sample preparation, the mill also supports nanomaterial dispersion, new product development and small-batch production, giving one compact machine the versatility of several devices.

XQM Planetary Ball Mill overview
Key Highlights
XQM Planetary Ball Mill features
  • Four samples per cycle: the four-jar turntable design multiplies daily output for high-volume preparation work.
  • 0.1 micron capability: ultra-fine grinding meets the strict particle specifications of modern analyzers.
  • Vacuum jar compatibility: an optional vacuum jar protects sensitive samples during the grinding cycle.
  • Dry and wet grinding: both methods are supported, covering ores, ceramics, chemicals and polymers.
  • Programmable operation: speed, forward and reverse timing and total duration follow your standard procedure.
  • Quiet precision mechanics: CNC-machined parts, a cast planetary plate and precision gears keep noise and vibration low.
How the Four-Jar System Works

As the turntable revolves, each jar simultaneously rotates on its own axis, so the grinding media inside receive energy from two superimposed movements. The result is intense impact and friction that quickly breaks particles down to the target size. Two or four jars can be engaged at once, and because all jars experience identical motion, batch-to-batch consistency is easy to maintain.
