Product Description
Lab Planetary Ball Mill 0.4L-25L for mineral Material Grinding
Product Overview

Choosing a planetary ball mill is often a compromise between processing small analytical samples and scaling up to larger batches. The YXQM laboratory planetary ball mill removes that compromise: the series spans jar volumes from 0.4 L up to 25 L, so one product family can serve everything from routine mineral sample grinding to larger pilot-scale material runs.

With a minimum particle size of 0.1 micron, dry and wet grinding modes and a wide choice of jar and media materials, this mill is especially popular in mineral processing laboratories that handle ores of different hardness and composition.

XQM Planetary Ball Mill overview
Selection Flexibility
XQM Planetary Ball Mill features
  • Wide capacity coverage: jar volumes from 0.4 L to 25 L allow the mill to grow with your workload.
  • Mineral-oriented design: robust construction handles hard rock, ore, slag and concentrate samples reliably.
  • Fine output down to 0.1 micron: consistent powder quality for mineralogical analysis and process studies.
  • Multiple jar materials: agate, zirconia, carbide, stainless steel, alumina and other options avoid cross-contamination.
  • Wet and dry processing: suitable for dry ore grinding, wet slurry milling and blending tasks.
  • Long-run endurance: up to 3600 minutes of continuous operation supports extended test programs.
Operating Principle

Jars mounted on the revolving turntable spin around their own axes at the same time. The overlapping centrifugal forces accelerate the grinding media to high energy levels, crushing mineral particles by impact and attrition. Depending on the sample load, two or four jars can be operated together, and the variable-frequency drive lets the operator match speed and duration to the material being ground.
