The XFD-Ⅲ is a heated laboratory flotation cell built for one specific problem that standard lab cells cannot solve: flotation reagents that only work at elevated pulp temperature. Fatty acid collectors for spodumene, scheelite, apatite and phosphate ores lose selectivity below 25℃, and oxidised sulphide pulp often needs 40–70℃ conditioning before flotation responds. The XFD-Ⅲ integrates a thermostatic heating jacket, a digital pulp temperature controller and a 316L stainless steel flotation cell into one bench unit, so the pulp can be conditioned and floated at the exact temperature your flowsheet requires.

A: Yes. The heater can be switched off and the machine works as a standard XFD flotation cell at ambient temperature.
A: Approximately 8–10 minutes at 1.5 kW with the lid closed.
A: We run a blank flotation test and provide the heating curve together with the calibration certificate.
Each unit is packed in a plywood case with moisture barrier film and shock-absorbing foam; the glass indicator and controller are protected with separate cushioning. Seaworthy export packing and wooden case fumigation certificate are provided for sea freight.
Tell us your ore type, target pulp temperature and cell volume, and we will quote the matching XFD-Ⅲ configuration within one working day.
