1.5L Laboratory Flotation Cell 0-1900 r/min Variable Speed for Xanthate Testing

This 1.5 L bench flotation cell is built for xanthate collector trials on sulphide ore. Collector dosage is the variable that moves concentrate grade fastest, and the three numbers that decide whether two tests are comparable are pulp volume, impeller tip speed and air rate. This unit fixes all three at the values plant metallurgists expect from a standard lab cell: 1.5 L effective volume, a 60 mm impeller running 0-1900 r/min, and 40 L/min of air, so a dose series can be run stage by stage without changing machine hydrodynamics between tests.

• 40 L/min air intake on a 1.5 L cell: high air-to-pulp ratio for its size, which is what sulphide rougher and scavenger simulation needs, because xanthate response shows up first as froth carry rate rather than as a change in pulp chemistry.
• 0-1900 r/min stepless impeller with 60 mm diameter: covers the low-speed conditioning step and the higher-speed flotation step on the same machine, so collector conditioning time and flotation intensity can be tuned independently.
• Compact 30 kg frame, 580 x 350 x 890 mm: one person can move the unit between benches or into a fume hood for lime and acid modifier tests, and the 0-30 r/min scraper speed is customised to your froth volume on request.
