Negative-Suspension Fine Crushing Series
The SP / PEX series jaw crusher adopts a negative-suspension (inverted-hanging) design, where the suspension point of the movable jaw is positioned below the eccentric shaft centerline. This optimized kinematic geometry delivers a larger horizontal stroke at the discharge end, higher crushing ratio, and more uniform product size — making it the preferred fine-crushing jaw crusher for hard and medium-hard ores. It is widely applied in geology, metallurgy, coal, building materials, chemical engineering, nuclear industry and other fields for laboratory sample preparation, pilot-scale testing, and small-to-medium production lines.
The motor drives the eccentric shaft via V-belt, making the movable jaw reciprocate periodically. In the negative-suspension configuration, the movable jaw suspension point lies below the eccentric shaft, which increases the horizontal stroke at the discharge end — promoting discharge, reducing clogging, and producing a more uniform product size. Material is crushed by compression and splitting in the chamber; the discharge setting is adjustable to control product size.
SP 60*100 and SP 100*100 are compact benchtop units designed for laboratory sample preparation. Small footprint, low noise, simple operation — ideal for geological exploration, assay labs, and R&D facilities where feed quantities are limited and consistent particle size output is required.
The PEX series spans from benchtop units (PEX 100*100, 100*125, 125*125) through pilot-scale (PEX 150*750) to small industrial models (PEX 400*600, 350*750). The negative-suspension design excels at secondary/fine crushing, delivering tight particle-size control and high throughput in a compact envelope.
