Product Description

XCRS Laboratory Wet Drum Magnetic Separator for Mineral Ore Beneficiation Testing

Product Overview

The XCRS series low intensity wet drum magnetic separator is a laboratory magnetic separation equipment designed for separation tests of strongly magnetic minerals. It is mainly used for beneficiation experiments of magnetite, magnetic pyrite, maghemite and other ferromagnetic minerals, as well as removing magnetic impurities from powder materials and refining magnetic materials.

The equipment adopts a wet separation method with a uniform pulp feeding system, adjustable magnetic field intensity and stable separation performance. It is widely used in laboratories of metallurgy, mining, powder metallurgy, chemical industry, cement, ceramics and mineral processing research.

Key Features

  • Adjustable Magnetic Field Intensity: The magnetic field intensity can be adjusted according to different mineral properties, meeting various laboratory separation requirements.
  • Wet Magnetic Separation Design: Suitable for fine-grained magnetic minerals and powder materials, improving separation efficiency and accuracy.
  • Uniform Feeding System: Equipped with a pulp mixing device to ensure uniform material feeding and stable test results.
  • Compact Laboratory Structure: Small footprint, easy operation and maintenance, ideal for mineral processing laboratories and research institutes.
  • Wide Application Range: Suitable for magnetic mineral separation experiments and beneficiation process research.

Applications

The XCRS wet drum magnetic separator is mainly used for laboratory magnetic separation tests and mineral beneficiation research. It is suitable for separating various magnetic minerals, including:

  • Magnetite
  • Pyrite (magnetic pyrite)
  • Roasted ore
  • Ilmenite
  • Other ferromagnetic minerals

Working Principle

The XCRS wet drum magnetic separator uses a rotating magnetic drum and adjustable magnetic field to separate magnetic minerals from non-magnetic materials. During operation, the mineral slurry enters the separation tank and flows through the magnetic field area. Magnetic particles are attracted to the surface of the rotating drum by magnetic force, while non-magnetic particles remain in the slurry and are discharged through the outlet.

As the drum rotates, the magnetic concentrate is carried out of the slurry zone and removed by the discharge system, achieving continuous and efficient magnetic separation.

Structure

Magnetic Separator Body

The main structure includes:

  • Frame: Provides stable support for the magnetic separation system and ensures reliable operation.
  • Magnetic Drum: The rotating drum generates a stable magnetic field to attract and separate magnetic minerals from slurry.
  • Ore Tank (Separation Tank): Holds the mineral slurry and provides a suitable separation environment.
  • Spray Pipe: Used for flushing and washing magnetic concentrates to improve separation efficiency.
  • Transmission Device: Drives the magnetic drum to rotate at a stable speed.
  • Feed Tank / Feeding Trough: Ensures uniform feeding of mineral slurry into the separation zone.
