The rotary sample divider reduces a large laboratory sample into representative sub-samples that retain the same cross section as the original lot. The sample cross section retention rate stays above 99 percent, so every divided portion carries the same particle size distribution and grade as the bulk sample. The unit runs to internationally accepted sampling protocols.
How the division works: the sample enters as a controlled falling stream, and the rotating cutter ring below reconstructs and cuts the full cross section of that stream in a circular sweep. Because the cutter passes through the whole stream instead of scooping part of it, no bias is added to the sub-sample. Five bucket sizes from 20 L to 90 L cover small pilot batches up to high volume mine samples.
| Total Bucket Capacity | Feed Hopper | Motor Power | Overall Dimensions |
|---|---|---|---|
| 20 L | 7 L | 1.2 kW | 905 x 410 x 995 mm |
| 30 L | 12 L | 1.2 kW | 930 x 480 x 1050 mm |
| 40 L | 20 L | 1.2 kW | 1160 x 555 x 1155 mm |
| 60 L | 25.5 L | 1.9 kW | 1340 x 810 x 1460 mm |
| 90 L | 82 L | 1.9 kW | 1630 x 810 x 1460 mm |
All capacities share the same drive concept, control panel, safety interlock and 380V 50Hz three phase supply. Only the bucket ring, hopper and frame size change with capacity, so operating procedure and wear parts stay common across the range.
Please confirm the required bucket capacity, the power supply available on site and the target sub-sample weight when ordering. Other capacities and special voltages can be quoted on request.
